Adult Program


Our Adult program is designed to meet a variety of needs from self-defense and increased confidence to physical fitness and developing friendships within the dojang(school). Our highly-trained Instructors provide both challenge and encouragement during the classes.
 
Adult classes which generally run just over an hour and are split into three categories, Krav Maga (click here for more info), which emphasizes real world self defense, MMA, which works mainly ground and striking techniques used for competition, and Traditional self defense, which adults warm up with a variety of cardio-enhancing exercises, stretch, and practice punching, kicks, falling skills, self-defense techniques, and occasionally spar with each other to develop timing and speed.

Self-control during sparring and self-defense techniques is stressed.

Since we view martial arts training as an individual "journey", students are promoted based upon their personal progress and skills rather than being compared to anyone else.
As with the Youth program, importance is placed on developing tenacity and self-confidence.

Krav Maga
Monday: 6:00pm-7:30pm
Wednesday: 6:00pm-7:30pm

MMA
Monday: 7:30pm-9:00pm
Wednesday: 7:30pm-9:00pm

Hapkido/self defense
Tuesday: 6:30pm-7:30pm
Thursday: 6:30pm-7:30pm

Georgia Mountain Hapkido
All instructors are Certified under Georgia Mountain Hapkido and the US Korea Martial Arts Federation.
