welcome to Georgia Hapkido Academy
Georgia Hapkido Academy specializes in
age-specific Martial Arts training in the Northeast
Georgia area. We use results oriented curriculum
to target proper development like no other sport or activity.
Through our programs, our students experience positive
growth both physically and intellectually.
Additionally, our students also experience improved
emotional awareness and better social skills.
As for our customer service, it is second to none. Our
student to instructor ratio is the lowest in the area.
All of our instructors are
highly-skilled adult professionals and our facility is
state of the art.
The best way to experience what we have to
offer is come try a

Georgia Hapkido Academy- A step Above
the Rest!!
Georgia Hapkido Academy is different from other schools in the
area in a number of ways. We have been in the Habersham County
area, for approaching 8
years and
offer well over 20
years of cumulative experience! We
are the only school in the area with age
and belt specific classes with
a flexible
schedule. Popham Athletics Martial Arts is a member of
four different consulting groups - each giving us the latest
ideas about different aspects of Martial Arts (and teaching)!
Our school is backed by the United
States Korean Marital Arts Federation (USKMAF)
- an internationally recognized organization whose goal is to
set higher standards for Korean Martial Arts in the U.S. The
President of the USKMAF is Grandmaster J.R. West, 9th Dan,
certified by the KiDoHwe #186.
Each of our Instructors
is a certified Black Belt in HapKiDo, many of them 2nd,
3rd and 4th Degree black belts! Our Instructors have each
trained from white belt through Black Belt here at our school.
This means that we know they are teaching exactly what we want
them to, in the way we want it taught. All instructors
are at least 18 years old and
receive weekly Instructor training. At our school, there are
NO kids teaching
kids!
